WELLINGTON, Arthur Wellesley, duke of (1769-1852)
Almost totally illegible Autograph Letter Signed ('W') to a Lady, 1 page 8vo, London 11 April 1851. Wellington's hand, always difficult, has quite defeated us here. Clearly he wants his indecipherable Lady and her Lordly husband to accompany him to some event, but what it might be is anyone's guess.
