MARLBOROUGH, Sarah Churchill, Duchess of (1660-1744).
Document Signed on the reverse as executor of her husband's will, partially printed and completed by hand, 1 page large folio (splits in the folds), 16 May 1732. An exchequer document ordering the repayment of £5000, a loan by Land-Tax.

The document is also signed the other executors of the Duke's will, George Dodington (1691-1762, friend and financial backer of Frederick, Prince of Wales), George Oxenden (1694-1775, Whig politician), Francis, Earl of Godolphin (1678-1766, politician whose tutor was John Evelyn), John Hanbury (1664-1734, ironmaster) and William Clayton (1671-1752, politician).
