Original draft of an Letter Signed to the Queen of Sweden and Norway, with a three-line subscription, 2 pages 4to, Buckingham Palace, 6 June 1859. Letters of credence granted to Augustus Berkeley Paget on the occasion of his taking up the post of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Sweden and Norway.
Although the letter is complete and does not appear to contain errors, the first page has been neatly and deliberately crossed through in ink, but the second page, bearing the Queen's subscription and signature, is untouched.
