Typewritten Letter Signed ('Lauris') to Field Marshal the Lord Harding, 1 page 4to, on writing paper of the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Paris, 21 March 1961. Congratulating Harding on his recent speech in the House of Lords, with an autograph note from Harding, signed 'H', indicated his acknowledgement.
'... Your experience and good sense are most welcome and useful contributions to the current defence debates. I hope your remarks will receive the attention and careful study they so obviously merit.'
