From the translation: 'As my friend Professor Gustav Rose is absent, I recommend for admission to this Geognostic Society a very excellent man, Herr Bergcommissar Zerrenner from Thuringia, who could make interesting communications on the Uralic diamonds of the petrificiations in black dolomite and on washing for gold.'
